Biography

I have had the great pleasure of teaching at Magrath Elementary school for the past 12 years. I have been the Special Education Facilitating teacher, taught grade 3 for one year, kindergarten for two years as well as being a Vice Principal for the last 5 years. I am very excited to be teaching grade one for a second year!

I attended the University of Lethbridge for 5 years, graduating in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education. I was lucky enough to be hired in Magrath immediately after graduating teaching Early Literacy for my first 2 years and have been here ever since.

When I am not at school, I enjoy snowmobiling in the winter, camping, hiking and dirt-biking in the summer and spending time with my husband and 2 dogs.
