Biography

I am excited to be making the move to Grade 3 this year. I have made many cherished memories in my 4 years in Kindergarten at MES and am looking forward to a great year in Grade 3!

I graduated from the University of Alberta in 2003 with a Bachelor of Education with a specialization in Educational Psychology. Before having the privilege of teaching in Magrath I worked as an Educational Assistant and Grade 3/4 teacher in Horizon School Division.

Prior to embarking on my teaching career I worked in the Environmental Science field; working for the Canadian Wildlife Service, Environment Canada and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. I still have a great passion for the outdoors and preservation of our natural heritage.

I have two children of my own and a very energetic beagle who keeps me very busy when I am not at school.
