Welcome to Grade 5 Science

 

In grade 5 science we cover 5 units: Wetlands, Classroom Chemistry, Weather Watch, Electricity and Magnetism, and Mechanisms Using Electricity.

Each student in grade 5 signed a contract stating that they would follow the lab safety rules and work well in a group. If they don't, they will have to do an alternate activity instead of the lab.

During September, October and part of November we will be working on the Wetlands unit, which includes a trip to the fish pond. Here are some pictures of our adventures.
