We are making flash cards in units of 6 cards each. Each unit consists of flash cards, matching sheets, picture/word booklets to read, and word booklets to illustrate. These units practice the same flash card words within these booklets. Please have your child read and practice these activities at home. The words are mostly sight words or basic words that can be sounded or memorized. Memorizing is the stronger skill in beginning reading and developmentally they will progress to understand the phonetic approach.
