Skating begins in January, so you may wish to check out

your child's skates and helmets ahead of time.  Your child must have

skates that fit and are sharp, gloves or mitts, AND a CSA

approved helmet made for skating or hockey. If you don't have skates or a helmet and don't want to buy your own, ask people you know if they have one you could borrow. Students who don't have the proper equipment will be doing an alternate activity at the rink. (It may be dancing as our family dance is the beginning of Feb.)

 

 

 

 

 

Searching for Pennies-- We searched and we found some pennies. So many that we needed a wagon to haul them to the bank! (Thanks London for supplying the wagon.) We had many families who sent large containers & bags with tons of pennies for us to count.

$169.50!!!

Enough to buy 2 flocks of chickens and 2 bags of seed potatoes!

Welcome to our Grade 3 class page. Remember to have your child read for 15 min. a day--that is the only homework. Try to keep up with the reading, especially at the beginning of the month.  Again, only 9 students reached the reading goal in October.  (Click on the language tab to see who this students are. Make reading a part of every day. Grade 3 is the year to do this!
