Flat Stanley
We have finally received Flat Stanleys from Ireland. I may be sending some home with students if they are responsible and willing to show their visitor our area. If you & your child are interesting in "hosting" a Stanley, let me know. Many students have taken Stanleys in the past and have done a great job. Hosting a Stanley is simple-- take pictures of the Stanley in our area and have your child write a story to go along with it. We had a Stanley visiting from Norway 2 years ago who was able to travel to the Olympics. It is not always that exciting but you can be creative and do interesting things in our area too. I ask that if your child brings a Stanley home, with your permission, that you help your child look after him/her.
