A brief core outline of our March.  For school wide events please check the calendar.

English Language Arts -  We are currently focused on a variety of writing activities.  Conventions, big ideas, and organizational rules.  We are reading the novel Hanna's Suitcase http://www.hanassuitcase.ca/    A big focus for the remainder of the year will be on writing and reading biographies.  Thanks to the parents who helped answer our research question on important biographies.  Students can start thinking about a person to build their upcoming poster project.

Mathematics - We have covered all the number operations, and will be forging into units focused on measurement and geometry.

P.E. - With spring approaching we will gradually be taking some of our activities outdoors.  Please make sure the proper footwear is available.
