WELCOME to Grade Three with Mrs. Bolt!!
"MAY " is proving to be the BUSIEST learning
month yet - and it won't slow down until the
end of June!!

With the upcoming Provincial
Achievement Tests, we are busy learning and practicing last minute
"stuff", so we are confident we will do our very best!

Our next "Wonderful Wednesday" will be next Wednesday,
May 23, 2012! We raised more than $1900.00 AND HAVE
SURPASSED OUR GOAL OF $1750.00 FOR A WATERWELL
- THANK YOU! We will continue to have "Wonderful Wed." to
try to raise money for even more chickens or potatoes- students will vote!!
If you are on the list to help at school, please meet in the
Auditorium kitchen on Tuesday, May 23at 2:00 and
expect to help out until 3:30 p.m. Thank you!
Some important reminders:
1. Please remember to check your child's Agenda each day after school for any
"important information" and to sign it daily.
2. Please see that your child has written the title of his/her
"Sea Creature/AR" reading book on the "Reading Calendar"
page and to sign it after your child has read out loud to your for at least 19 minutes
each night! THANK YOU!!! Check the 'reading goal' at the top of each month.
March's reading goal is 25 days for 19 min. each day!
***NEW***Your child has been told that he/she may replace the"Sea Creature" books
with AR books to read at home, as long as the book is written on the calendar
page and is reading each night!!!***
3. Library Book Exchange is on Tuesday mornings and any other day your child
has read an AR book, taken a quiz and is ready to trade. Please help your
child remember to bring his/her books back to school!

1. Writing Provincial Achievement Test Tues.,
May 15, 2012 at 8:45 a.m. SHARP!!
Be well-rested and well-fed!!!
2. Field Trip to Galt Museum and Helen Schuler on
May 16 at 8:45 a.m. - 3:20 p.m.
-Please fill in the permission form and return it by this Friday.
If you would be willing to help come and supervise for the day,
please let me know. We need one adult for every 5 students.
3. Walk/Run Club continues Tues., Wed., Thurs. until
mini-Marathon on May 25 at 11:30 a.m.
4. Pitch-In Day May 11 HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY ON MAY 13!!
5. Friday, May 4 - No School Division P.L.C.
6. Mon., May 21 - No School Victoria Day
